The Technology Application and Promotion Institute of the Department of Science and Technology (DOST-TAPI) will spearhead a knowledge-sharing webinar entitled, “The SPECIALIST: Strategic Insights on Emerging Methods on IP Valuation,” on 26 July 2021 to inform the capabilities developed by the Department in IP valuation.

The webinar will open the "Week-long Accomplishment and Culminating Activity of Special Projects" or WACAS on 26-30 July 2021, which will present the highlights of the completed special project of DOST-TAPI.
Topics on IP rights, freedom-to-operate, IP valuation, and valuation methods will be discussed by the following esteemed DOST-TAPI resource speakers:
- Mr. Caezar Angelito R. Arceo – Registered Patent Agent (Chem and Non-Chem Fields) and Certified Patent Valuation Analysts (CPVA)
- Atty. Marion D. Decena – Certified Public Account, Lawyer, and CPVA
- Ms. Glenda Rima – Intellectual Property Expert and Economist
