The Department of Science and Technology (DOST) drafted their future plans for the Philippine technology industry following the success of their business-matching mission and Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2024 in Silicon Valley, California on January 9-14, 2024.

The Philippine Delegation, with DOST, successfully completed their Los Angeles and Las Vegas business-matching missions and CES participation on January 9-14, 2024, paving the way for further missions and initiatives connecting the Philippine and American electronics businesses. With 105 visitors at the Philippine Pavilion, 7 established partnerships, 11 successful business visits, and 21 established linkages, the DOST plans to capitalize on the momentum to cement its position in the international electronics landscape.

 The Department of Science and Technology - Technology Application and Promotion Institute (DOST-TAPI) celebrates alongside the entire Philippine delegation for their outstanding performance, securing both silver and bronze awards at the esteemed 49th International Exhibition of Inventions Geneva (IEIG) held from April 17-21, 2024, in Geneva, Switzerland.

All nine Filipino inventions received silver and bronze distinctions at the IEIG. Hailing from a pool of more than 40 organizations and universities, these innovations distinguished themselves for their creative approaches to tackling urgent global issues and driving forward sustainability objectives.
